Abstract
The article is dedicated to the doctor of biological sciences,

named after Stanislav Bohdan Khmelnytskyi
Oleksandrovich Kovalenko on the occasion of his 60th birthday
anniversary The main life and professional milestones are presented
the path of the famous scientist-physiologist, teacher and

for the invention of the USSR, 7 patents for the invention of Ukraine, the declaratory patent of Ukraine, 5
copyright certificates for computer programs. Under the leadership of S. Kovalenko
defended 6 dissertations in the field of physiology of blood circulation. The article highlights
multifaceted life activity of the jubilee as a model of service to his native alma mater and
